There is a researcher in Layton who has had several experiences near his property over the past few years. He got in touch with me, and I met him last week.
He showed me the land near his property, related several experiences there and I took one photograph of a gully that has a stream running through it, a lot of dense scrub oak and the surrounding hillside and neighborhood houses.
It is exciting for me to think that this urban area is a location where these creatures travel frequently. He told me that the neighbors have heard the same night-time screaming that he has. He also said that he has several trail cameras in the area near his property in areas where there have been visual sightings, footprints and tree-breaks.
