Film Processing

So I usually have a 'real' darkroom to process my film in, but I was getting such a large back-log of negatives that I decided to start processing.

My basement is in the process of being finished, therefore my space that I was getting ready to use as my darkroom is currently storing everything that was strewn about the basement. Since I have no where to process my film I had to decide to take over the half-bathroom upstairs.

I am using PMK for my developer, processing for 15 minutes, doing a split of the development time half-way through and putting in a fresh 1000ml of developer at 7 minutes. I am shooting HP5+ and processing for 15 minutes. I might lengthen the time to 16 for my normal development time.

The JOBO 3005 drum works well with the Unicolor roller base that I have modified to only rotate in one direction.

It's a little tight in there and I have to be careful with spills and cleaning up, but so far the results have been fabulous and I am excited to push on and get the rest of the film developed.

Today I processed film from Bigfoot sightings in City Creek Canyon and a shot from Great Salt Lake.
